The easiest way to make a dairy free matcha latte, just blend up our vegan coconut milk powder with our matcha powder!
I found the coconut milk powder offered a lovely subtle sweetness but you may like to add a touch of syrup, honey or agave to taste for extra sweetness. Use an electric cup whisk for the best, creamiest latte.
Recipe: Matcha Latte
- 1 cup boiling water (seperateed in two 1/2 cups
- 1/4 cup coconut milk powder (CMP)
- 1/2 tsp matcha powder
Whisk the CMP into the ½ cup of boiling water for 1 minute until it appears similar to steamed milk. Whisk the matcha powder into the other half of the boiling water. It works best to use a small electric cup whisk.
Pour the matcha into your mug and hold at an angle as you pour hot whisked milk in… try and make pretty art on top if you have the knack!
